ONE HUNDRED and THIRTY SIX THOUSAND** of the 800,000 inhabitants of Berkshire need your help in a very special way.

A way which involves FAITH. Faith in HUMANITY.

BERKSHIRE HUMANISTS require help to make this ** number of people and more aware that they can do more about promoting their belief in their NON religious life stance. The advent of new human rights laws in 2006 has meant that Humanism can take its place with all the religions in whatever community role and whatever local or national consultation committee they wish. The greater proportion of the non religious do not yet realise this. This is a massive, interesting, unique and stimulating task in which you can make a positive difference. You could be (after looking us up- as you are doing now).

- Performing routine office duties,

- Making the most of technology in all and any forms of communication. Graphic abilities particularly welcomed .

- Fund raising, particularly in the area of grant applications and the legal requirements to take the group through all the stages of obtaining help through as many funds and sponsors as possible. RVA knowledge a bonus.

- Under no obligation to take part in meetings or regular functioning in the group.

- Taking directions or having your initiatives appreciated.

- Working mostly in your own home. Internet facilities would help.

You can have ANY faith, you just need the desire to help people understand. Any communication skills that you have will be utilised. 16+ age limitation.

**Figures based upon a MORI Poll concluding that 17% of the population prefer Non religious conclusions. There are as yet NO official census figures on Humanism.
