Accord is a new coalition of senior representatives of Faith and secular belief groups who want to speak with one voice on topics which affect society.

New pressure over faith schools
Posted by: | CommentsAccord, a new coalition of secular and religious figures, wants the government to stop state-funded schools engaging in what they say is "discrimination".
It argues that all children should have equal access to good local schools and that segregating them on religious grounds harms community cohesion.
The first state-funded Hindu faith school is due to open

CALLING BRACKNELL RESIDENTS

to get their views and ideas of the services that it provides, not
just to young people in the area but the community at large. The
consultation is taking place at 6.30pm on September 2nd at the Wayz
Youth Centre on Calfridus Way and anybody with an interest is welcome.

Can Humanists parallel their ambitions and plans, providing our own answers to their questions??
The Council provides a forum for fifty professional associations and faith and belief communities which are promoting and supporting Religious Education nationally in schools, colleges and universities. In partnership with the Department for Children Schools and Families it is coordinating an action plan for developing Religious Education in England.
